Do you have parking?
We have discounted parking deal with Hynes Yard Multi Story car park located on Merchants Road for €11 per 24 hours.
What time is check in & check out?
Check in is from 3pm & check out is 11.30am
Can I check in early?
Yes, but we cannot guarantee your room will be ready, you can register and we can store your luggage in our main lobby area and have it dropped up to your room
Can I get a late check out?
This is on a request basis only on check in at the hotel & is subject to availability and additional charge.
Can I store luggage?
Yes, we can store your luggage for you, free of charge at our main reception desk in our lobby area, please note we do not have a luggage room.

Yes, our bedrooms have air conditioning.
Do you have Triple rooms?
We have triple rooms available to book over the phone or via email.
What room amenities are available?
Our rooms are accompanied by an en-suite Italian designed and accessorised bathroom with rain-forest shower.. Each room includes a writing desk, hairdryer and is suitable for single or double or twin occupancy. Our rooms feature a Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube Etc. (Guest must use own account log in details). We offer complimentary perks for our guests such as complimentary WiFi, bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities. Our individually controlled air conditioning allows you to make your room the perfect temperature. Our sound proofed windows and electronic security deposit box allows guests to feel safe and comfortable during their stay. Our House Suite and the Latin Quarters also feature extra amenities which can be found by clicking their names.
Can I upgrade my room?

Is there WiFi / Internet Access?
Yes, The House Hotel provides complimentary Internet Access for our guests.
What type of rooms can I book?
We offer Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe rooms. We also have our beautiful House Suite
The House Hotel’s Sustainable Housekeeping Service
To contribute to our sustainability goals, we have implemented our Sustainable Housekeeping Service which means we will not fully service your room every day during your stay. However our team will enter your room daily to empty bins and replace towels in line with our linen re-use initiative. As a token of our appreciation we will make a donation to a green charity initiative. What is the cancellation policy?
A guest can cancel free of charge 48 hours in advance of arrival by 1530 local time with no charge.

AMEX Cards
Please note that as a merchant, we apply a 3% surcharge on the total bill when using an American Express card. This surcharge helps us offset the higher processing fees associated with American Express transactions. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy your experience with us. Is The House Hotel wheelchair accessible? Is there a lift?
Yes the hotel is wheelchair accessible and we provide wheelchair accessible accommodation. We also have a lift which provides access to the upper floors of the hotel. We also have a number of ground floor wheelchair accessible rooms available. We also have a ramp to the rear entrance to the hotel.
What times is breakfast served from?
A self service breakfast available each morning 7.30am-11am. Staff are on hand to assist you if needed.
Is there a bar or restaurant?
We serve delicious cocktails and drinks in our lobby from 3pm -11pm.
Do you offer Lunch & Dinner?
We only serve breakfast but are happy to recommend our sister hotel The Hardiman and MacNeill’s pub or we can make other recommendations based on what you prefer.
What is there to do near the House Hotel, Galway?
The House Hotel is located in the heart of Galway, right beside Shop Street and Quay Street, and only a 5 minute walk from Eyre Square. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Galway city, Satlhill, Spanish Arch, Claddagh and the Wild Atlantic Way. See more about our location.

Do you have a gym at hotel?
No – the nearest leisure centre is Leisureland in Salthill which as a swimming pool & Gym
Do we offer a laundry service?
If you would like any laundry done while with us, there are laundry bags in your room which would need to be left outside your room prior to 8.30am.
We then send it offsite to a company who return it the same day, evening time.
Please note that there is no Sunday or Bank Holiday service.
Is the hotel pet friendly?
We only accept Guide Dogs
Do you provide airport transfers?
